Leah set up this blog for us and I have the honor of posting the first entry. I'm not really sure what I want to say, but I know I want to say it before 11:30 am on Wednesday, 9/10/08. That's because the world is going to end at that time. Maybe.
Some people think the world is going to end because of an earth-swallowing black hole caused by the new 17-mile underground Large Hadron Collider that will be turned on for the first time at 11:30am on Wednesday, 9/10/08. I don't really know what a Large Hadron Collider does, but the crew that is responsible for this machine is hoping it will be able to show them the secret of the universe's origins.........
I am absolutely certain that every single person that has been working on this Large Hadron Collider is smarter than I am. That is a fact. But, if they had only asked me, I could have told them the secret of the universe's origins.

Well, come to think of it, it's not really a secret at all. If those scientists had sent a quick email to me it would have been much quicker, cheaper, and much more fulfilling than their Large Hadron Collider will be. Good luck to everyone tomorrow at 11:30am.
